SUMMARY:The Brain Science Training Institute's: Trauma Informed Care for the Community
DESCRIPTION:This interactive 3 hour\, virtual workshop serves as an introduction to understanding the impact of traumatic events on a person’s development\, individual relationships\, day to day interactions and their overall success in life.  Understanding trauma can save lives\, build resiliency and inspire dreams.  This workshop places an unique emphasis on the brain science that drives the understanding of trauma and behavior.  Participants will learn about different types of traumatic events\, the various signs of trauma\, the impact of trauma on brain structure\, and development and functioning.  Participants will also learn how to prevent and overcome trauma and introductory steps for trauma-informed organizations. \nPlease RSVP as registration is required!
