Cultivating Resilience: Efforts Within and Outside of the Academy

This event will showcase efforts to cultivate resilience both within and outside of the academic community.

Efforts that will be shared include trauma-informed trainings for volunteers in the Alabama prison systems, an integrated comprehensive resilience training initiative into a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, ways to apply a trauma-informed lens to a higher education classroom, a Well-Being and Resilience interprofessional collaborative, and trauma-informed community development.
